Cost of flagstone paving?

| Does anyone know how much the average quote per square foot of laying flagstone is? This would be laid over concrete. I'm in California and trying to evaluate if what we have is high or low or just about right.
Right now the cost of materials is 2/3 that of labor which seems strange.

| california costs are different than other places. call several local places to find out what average is in your area. laying flagstone is hugely labor intensive, so having it cost more than the stone does not seem strange. |
