 o
concrete walkway

My house did not have a walkway, instead it was all asphault-even up to my front stairs. I hate that! I don't know what got into me but yesterday I managed to get all of the asphalt off in front of the stairs and guess what-a nice concrete walkway underneath! I mean, maybe it's not 'nice', but it's old concrete, you can see the little stones in it, and it is so much better looking than asphalt!
And, when DH got home he didn't even want to divorce me!
Anyway, great forum, I love gardening with stone. I have some neighbors, a few guys who bought a big house down the street from me. They are all masons, you should see what they have done there! It is starting to look like a prison or a castle-can't decide-but their stone walls are beautiful...

RE: concrete walkway

The little tresures that we find in our yards!
If the idea of a stone walk interests you, you should talk to your neighbors to see what it would take to mortar stone ontop of the concrete walk.
