| Hi All,
I'm fascinated by what you've accomplished! I'd like to edge a long flower bed with stone, and would prefer to have it stacked at least a little bit (two layers). I'm collecting flat (or nearly flat) rocks with rounded edges. I'm hoping I'll be able to get by on common sense and good advice. Got any (of the latter)? :-) Thanks! Susan |
Follow-Up Postings:

| Hi, Susan, If this was my project, I'd put a barrier down between the earth and the first layer to prevent weeds from growing between the stones. Then I'd stagger the placement of the second layer so the "seams" don't line up, it looks better that way. Maybe dig the first layer a little into the dirt to prevent shifting? That's the most advice I can think of. Dianne |
