Working with stone is fun

It's like putting a big puzzle together. A buddy and I did this with steel bars and shovels. I had the rocks dumped off on the hill above where they are now. It still needs a little tweaking. A picture really shows where improvements can be made.

Beautiful! Impressive!! Which came first, the rocks or the trees and plants?

Rocks first, then trees, then smaller plants and groundcovers.

If you can move a rock an inch you can move it a mile.

Nice job botann. Here in NH we have stone everywhere. I have several piles of them waiting to become walls.

A 60' bar and a working knowledge of 1st and 2nd class leverage is all you need to get started.
