3 Years of Crusher Run, Now want something better in bluestone

I've had a bluestone walkway for several years and I'm growing tired of having to sweep the small pebbles every month that come up from the joints. Every time I walk out there in my bare feet, I get tiny stones jamming into my heels.

Is there something that I can use between the pavers that will stay in place? A neighbor mentioned polymeric sand. I'm not familiar with it. Is that an option and if so, how would I go about removing the existing C&R?

I'm in the same boat and have been researching envirostone. We have a flagstone path where the pebbles have pretty much washed out of the joints, and I've been looking for a suitable replacement. This product seems to fit the bill quite nicely.

It was such a pain in the keister laying the flagstone, that I haven't done much beyond the internet research. It's on my 'someday to-do list' ;)

Here's a video on how to retrofit it
