| I don't normally post in here but wanted to share my new stone with everyone. I'm excited about the possibilities of this in my garden!!

| Nice rock jodonne. It looks like the type of stone used by Chinese gardeners for special display. There are a number of posts discussing these rocks and their sources in the Japanese Gardening forum. If it is volcanic, I wonder how it became so eroded. Normally, stones that look like this are limestone that was eroded by slightly acidic lake and stream water. |

| Yes, it is Limestone. They just called it a volcano rock at the place I picked it up!! They alos called it Steeple Rock and Cathederal Rock! |
