Paver Edge showing

Posted by redzins (My Page) on

There are large sections of my paver patio plastic edging that are coming up to the surface. It appears the spikes are not holding it place and the rain is softening the soil around it. Can the area around the edging be dug away, replacing the edging and spikes? Are there alternatives? The patio has been installed about 3 years so the installer will not come back to repair.

Thanks

RE: Paver Edge showing

Of course you can repair the edge. The pavers are well settled in and should not shift, as long as you are careful.

The other edging alternative would be steel. They make long, flat steel edging in a variety of colors. Lasts longer than plastic and won't "shift" on you as much.
