Sandstone Boulders...Any Ideas??

Greetings~
Just trying to brainstorm on what to do with our rock collection.......currently we use to frame garden beds, flatter ones we use for walkways......Just wondering if anyone on this forum can recommend some 'landscape' ideas. I'm sure that would require photos of the intended site, which I can provide. But here is the type and size of rock we are dealing with for anyone that is interested.....thanks for your time! :-D

Here is a link that might be useful: Large Sandstone Boulders

Frame a water feature. Add some smaller rock to finish it off and stock with fish and water plants.

RE: Sandstone Boulders...Any Ideas??

We have a lot of sandstone rocks/boulders here in central PA, and I like to use them in my garden. They look great with grasses, such as Rose Fountain (to 45"H) with med. size boulders/very large rocks (24", preferably larger). I also use rocks around my butterfly bushes and any place I think could use another dimension. For a more pleasing effect, and a more natural look, I dig the ground out a few inches or more so that the rocks are not just sitting on top of the garden bed. The flat rocks I use in my walkways, and to make a low wall in sections of my garden.

Good luck. Jane
