solar pool cover revisited

cardine

We have a greenhouse in a community garden with no power source in Georgia, zone 8. 8x12 double wall polycarbonate, automatic vent openers. I've followed several older threads about the magni-clear solar pool cover that sound great, except for a few mentions of the cover possibly causing the polycarbonate to deteriorate or become milky. I called a seller of the cover and they mentioned that putting it on a greenhouse would void the warranty (?). Wondering if anyone who has used this for several years now can report back on the performance of this product. And would we need to remove it when it gets hot??

Also, some sort of solar fans will be needed to stir the air around. Maybe even some other fans to vent the greenhouse? I've looked into a Mr.Heater Big Buddy propane and it appears to be pretty expensive to operate, changing out little tanks all the time. Plus Big Buddy doesn't have a thermostat (we hope to someday run electricity to this gh).

Any advice would be so welcome!
