Tubing in Ceiling Bench Warmer

Hello,

Anyone heating water in the roof of their greenhouse?

My greenhouse has a 2x6 rafter roof, with a single layer of glass. The openings between rafters are about 2ft x 5ft. There are eight of these. I could probably get 6 loops of 3/4 pipe, tight against inside face of the 2x6's. All eight bays would be connect by one main line through the rafters.

Questions:

Should I put another another layer of plastic / glass on the bottom of the rafters? Enclosing the tubing.

Should the mainline be larger than the coiled tubing.

Should I paint the rafters black or maybe white?

I have a inline circulation pump and a 40 gallon water heater. Would the water heater be left on all year or only in the winter? Is this a big enough water heater?

Final question, is it worth the expense and bother.

The link below is the Trueleaf Bench Warmer. The bench will be plumbed similar to this.
