Spider Mites overwinter in Greenhouse

Hi.

After quite a battle with spider mites last year in my small greenhouse, I finally gave up and moved the least infected plants outside. I left the worst infected plants, 2 elephant ears and a houseplant in there over the winter (no heat). Obviously the plants died, but they were pretty well done for with the mites... I have a min-max thermometer and the highest temp recorded was 127 and the lowest was 33. It is absolutely 100% bone dry in there and has been for about 6 months. Question is this: What's the chances my "friends" made it through the "oven and dehydrator" for 6 months? I have roses coming today and last night I put 2 hibiscus trees back in there. Not looking forward to a battle again so I was wondering what else I can do to protect the plants. Thanks-Scott
