Has anyone used AVID miticide...?
Follow-Up Postings:

I have... excellent results with desert roses in both our greenhouse operation, and outdoors on our benches... But, no matter what miticide you use, you need to use 2 or 3 in rotation. Mites develop resistance rapidly. We will usually combine spraying with insecticidal soap and neem oil. Brian

I hate having to use chemicals, but Avid is the only thing I've found that works on bamboo mites...and I've got a lot of bamboo, so I use it. It's expensive, but a small bottle is a multi-year supply for me. One thing you have to be careful about is not to spray it when there are bees around as it can kill them, too.
