There are a few "weather stations" out there which have radio connected remote sensors for temp and humidity. They come in various configurations, from the simple to full blown stations with wind and rain gauges. Many have alarms you can program and set.

As long as your GH is line of site to your house, and you don't have metal siding or some other radio wave blocking material on your house these should work for you.
