Converting HFGH door to swing door?

I got this idea from another members post with details. What I was wondering was,instead of putting a piece of wood all the way across. Couldn't I just have a piece of wood fastened to the door that the handle fits on? That way light and looks aren't lost? Thanks.

Got all the supplies to do this like I found another member did. Only thing is I don't see why I would have to put a board across the middle window?

Why couldn't I just have a small piece of wood,bolt the latch to that and trim the poly panel to fit? I have a small screen door latch. Might be the something member used. Or even a small piece of sheet metal?

blownz281, not sure, but you might have luck getting others to help you brainstorm ideas for this, if you could post a link to the other "post with details" you mention.

For me, it's hard to get a good visualization of your question.

(Didn't want you to feel unappreciated...!)

Hope the greenhouse is proceeding OK.
