| Good morning everyone. I am new to this site. I have been planning a greenhouse, will probably start next spring. In the course of my research, I found a site that might be helpfull to someone that is the greenhouse planning stage. This link it to a sun position calculator. You can enter variables for position of greenhouse, time, date, etc and see where the sun will be positoned. A bit of pre-planning may help someone avoid a mistake in placement.

| Are you planning a permanent installation or one of the portable models? I just started with a small 6x6x6.5 portable model and will probably keep increasing the size every few years. Based on prices, it's more economical for me to buy the temporary greenhouses with the poly coverings. |

| I will have to check zoning with the city, but I am leaning toward a permanant greenhouse. My goal size is 12x16 and will be sited in a place I can get water, gas and electricity off my shop. I figure if I am going to do it, may as well do it right. :) |
