I'm planning to build a lean to greenhouse (10x4) against my house which is brick. The greenhouse faces south. Since I am in Texas I am mainly concerned with the keeping the greenhouse warm at night. The greenhouse really won't be big enough to put 55 gallon drums full of water for heat.

I'm wondering if putting black plastic against the brick will help the brick heat up and retain enough to get through the night.

Or maybe putting 2 or 3 cock pots in there at night (I have some old ones that were headed to Goodwill).
