Heating a lean to greenhouse

I'm planning to build a lean to greenhouse (10x4) against my house which is brick. The greenhouse faces south. Since I am in Texas I am mainly concerned with the keeping the greenhouse warm at night. The greenhouse really won't be big enough to put 55 gallon drums full of water for heat.

I'm wondering if putting black plastic against the brick will help the brick heat up and retain enough to get through the night.

Or maybe putting 2 or 3 cock pots in there at night (I have some old ones that were headed to Goodwill).

Would that help?

Bricks usually heat up pretty good on their own unless very light in color. That will help heat some at night but still not to any significant degree by morning. A small heater or heat lamps would suffice in that small area.

I'd be more concerned about over heating. My sunroom hits 130F in winter if not ventillated.
