My carport was way too big, so I converted half of it into a greenhouse. I spent about 1/5th of what a good greenhouse kit with the same area would have cost. I had a carpenter do the work. Most of my plants like a cool, part-shaded greenhouse, so I didn't have to make all of the walls transparent. At the moment, I am venting it into the garage side, by opening it up at the top of the wall separating it from the garage. This has the advantage of being very simple and not leaking. Next spring, I will design and build some proper wall and roof vents.
