Go to the hardware store and buy the connectors and glue made for that purpose. They are not expensive.

You may want to check out Buildmyowngreenhouse.com it is the same as Lostcreek.com and Hoopbenders.com They make benders and couplers for chainlink top rail, 1/2 in, 3/4 in, and 1 inch EMT conduit.

I have a 6 foot lowtunnel bender, very simple and easy product to use.

Lowes has coupling sleeves but you can just buy a larger size pipe and cut your oun sleeves (8-10"); the center crimp is all that you'll loose. Use a teck screw from the lower side on each side of the connection. If I recall correctly You want to shop for larger pipe in the plumbing section, not electrical.

The sleeves and couplers at buildmyowngreenhouse.com are what I am looking for but the shipping costs to Alaska are 400% more than the material. The pipe in the plumbing section at my hardware is all schedule 40 and not really bendable with my jig. Also, the ID or OD don't quite match up to work as a sleeve.

Just put a piece of tape over the rough edge. Duct tape will last about a year in the sun. I use greenhouse repair tape over the rough edges of the EMT connectors. It works well and doesn't degrade quickly in the sun.

I have everything taped together right now and am searching for a better method. I use the hoop tunnels for different purposes and need them to be mobile friendly.
