Thermometers - high/low and indoor/outdoor

Posted by jennholly tx 8 (My Page) on

I saw a reference to a thermometer that records minimum and maximum temperatures, but I haven't seen many good reviews about them.

Has anyone used them, and how were the results?

Also, where is the best place to put a thermometer in a greenhouse? My guess is "in multiple locations."

Thanks,
Jenn

RE: Thermometers - high/low and indoor/outdoor

I have one made by LaCrosse and I love it. The display sets on my TV and shows indoor temp and humidity, the GH temp and it has a sensor I ran through the wall of the GH so it reads the outdoor temp. Records High/Low but it does not reset daily, that has to be done manually (takes about three seconds). The GH is about 60 feet away but the data is being transmitted through the bedroom walls, bathroom walls, another bedroom and into my living room.
