Cost: Concrete Blocks vs Concrete Slab

Okay. I am building a permanent greenhouse.
8H/10W/10L was original plan, which included rail road tyes(sp?), which are hard to come by. So, enter Cinder Blocks, changing my measurement to 16.92x10.41. So, thats a total of 84 blocks (2 high) at around 1.44. Round up to 100 blocks to account for damaged blocks, etc. For $144.00 (plus the inevitable tax of, say .10c add $14.40 because it wouldnt be America otherwise) and the cost of concrete mix (havent done the math on that) as well as the simple tools (just thought of that). To be safe, with hopes of it costing less, lets say $300.00.

1) How to do the math for pouring a concrete slab?
2) Would a 160sq ft. slab be more cost efficiant?
3) I just like prime numbers...do you? (lol)
