Even though I'm in San Diego and my area gets little if any frost, I bought a small greenhouse because I started trying to grow papayas, mango seedlings and avocado seedlings.
It's only 6'x6'x6.5', but seems to be adequate to keep my seedling growing strong.
So far I've been able to keep it heated at night with a small heater set on low (750W).
It's usually about 65F to 70F when I go out at night to check it and as soon as the sun comes up it's up to 80+F in no time.Controlling the humidity levels seems to be the big problem with such a small greenhouse.

good for you! I believe every gardener needs a greenhouse.

As Im sure you have found out, the heat will build up quickly so be sure you dont forget to vent it.

I've been successfully and relatively cheaply heating my small starter greenhouse with a little electric heater.
I have it set on low (750W) and the temperature dial adjusted to keep it about 60-70 degrees inside.
Of course, since it's San Diego, the outside temperatures have only gone into the low 40 degree range most nights.
