Simple Gravity Water Pump

User

Years ago a friend in the Northern California Redwood country showed me the simple gravity pump he used to lift water from a creek up to his house; it was very elementary compared with what I'm finding on the www, in that it used only a small (maybe 4 or 5" in diameter) waterwheel apparatus (black plastic, as I recall) that was turned by the flow of the stream and forced the water uphill in about a 1" ABS/PVC-type line; his goal wasn't a lot of water, just a steady, small supply -- and that is what this pump did. Anyone know where to find such?

Much appreciated.
