I am hopping that someone can help me with my problem. I have an area in the back yard that has a decent amount of sun light, good soil, and pine trees. The area around the small pine trees will not grow any grass. I was once told, long ago and before it was a problem for me, that the dead pine needles on the ground will not allow grass to grow. Does any one else know what I am talking about? I have cleaned up all of the old needles from the ground, is there some sort of chemical that I will need to put in the ground. I would appreciate any input, thank you.
