| I've been noticing that my garden didn't hardly produce anything for us all summer and now as we start to see an end to the summer, my garden is producing cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapeno, and so on.
Is there a reason why my garden is doing this? Has it happened to anyone else? I'd love some input :) Brooke @--)---

| If your local area has had a very hot early summer/summer, 90 degree + day temps., most veggies will not set fruit. Plant pollen becomes very sticky/liquify at these temps. and cannot be transfered to the ovaries of the flower thus producing fruit. Enjoy your late harvest. |

| Some crops are cooler season ones. Beans, beets, carrots and potatoes, broccoli to name a few. The hottest temps just slow them down but once the coolers temps in the fall keep the evenings under 70's, everything starts to give their final push! |
