| I'm the program assistant for Home Gardener's School. The New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station at Rutgers is having a Home Gardener's School on September 20 in New Brunswick, NJ. There are many classes throughout the day on a variety of gardening topics; there is a class on Understanding Soil and Plant Relationships which includes a soil test kit demonstration, and a class on 5 Easy Steps to Better Garden Soil with Dan Kluchinski, a class on proper pruning techniques, on tree law, landscaping for butterflies and many other things. For more information, the brochure, and to register for classes visit the website: http://www.cpe.rutgers.edu/courses/current/ah0201ca.html or call the registration desk at 732-932-9271. Hope this is a helpful and fun program for fellow forum-members! |
