Posted by hsur NY (My Page) on

I have a 10 year old + MTD Track Snowblower that I need a replacement Chute Rotate Motor. I remember someone using a car window regulator motor as a replacement. I have tried searching the forum without finding the post. Any help in searching would be welcomed.

Thanks

I'll sell you a fine good used motor from a 85 BMW 528e for 20 $ You prolly could use it to rotate a chute.

Thanks for the information. I took the motor off today and will head to the auto parts store. I did not want to pay for the replacement kit (includes mounting bracket)at 230 dollars.

Thanks again

Put the Cardine Part Number 42-158 on tonight. Perfect fit with no modification required. Ready for next winter snow.

Thanks again for the information.
