MTD red paint match

Posted by grivera (My Page) on

I have an 1997 2-stage MTD 8hp snow thrower that needs surface rust and peeling paint taken care of; I plan on fixing the rust with POR 15-or equivalent. Does anyone here know a good match for the RED paint used on these models?

Take the chute deflector off. Go to a paint store that does colour matching. They can mix the correct colour for you.

However, places like Tractor Supply often carry colours for machinery. Check with them first.

Thanks castoff. The chute deflector is actually black plastic but perhaps I can find a different small and easily removable part.
