Governor failure 6hp Tecumseh-can't find repair parts!

Old Ariens Snowblower with a 6hp Tecumseh engine has a governor failure. A plastic wheel of all things, Probably the only piece of plastic on the machine.

Having alot of trouble finding parts for this engine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't guarantee this is part you need but will fit engine listed. There probity other places out there this one in link. I see spring there as well.

Thanks. I can't wait to look at the part in the morning. There were some metal bits to, so perhaps the picture helps solve that puzzle.

Certified Parts Corporation, in Edgerton, Wisconsin, has bought the old stock from Tecumseh Power, and they also manufacture replacement parts for Tecumseh engines. They have a department for "vintage parts" that might be able to help you.
