Edger Recommendation Needed

I bought a Vigoro Half-Moon Edger from Home Depot and had the tang bend on the first use - made in China like so much of Home Depot's (and the world's) junk these days. I'm thinking that perhaps a spade-like shovel might be a better idea and I wonder if anyone here can recommend a top quality spade for this use?

I have the edger attachment for my Mantis tiller and it's worked great for me. I have the tiller, edger, and crevice cleaner attachments for my Mantis and I use them all.
