I have a Troy built model# 21AA413J052 Mtd Tiller.

I went to use this tiller today and the tines will not engauge.

It has the lever for the rev, fwd, and fwd till. It goes into rev and fwd and drives but when you go past fwd to the tine position it does not do anything. I took the metal cover off so I could see the shaft the lever is attached to and it goes as far as the lever is long. It does not see m to be doing what it should when it gets to the till spot. Almost like something is gone in that spot.

Does anyone know a fix for this or is it going to a major job.

Any suggestions appreciated. Even if I could get it locked into till permanently I would be happy.
