Devilbliss GB 5010 5000 watt generator

I have a 5010 generator that will not generate power....I took the back cover off...found 2 winding ends loose on the exciter...the other 2 windings on the other side are soldered to a the other 2 windings connect on the other side/

I am not sure which wires you are describing. Sounds like your two loose wires should connect to the "bridge rectifier", maybe it overheated and the two wires that appeared to be bolted down are actually connected to melted spade lugs. That's what happened to my GB5000, which may be very similar to your model. Colors of the wires and/or a picture would help if possible.
