Be carfull when you pull out the old pressure washer!

I got my pressure washer out last weekend to do a little work, it has been sitting since last fall.

I plugged in the red nozzle and hooked it up, it started on the second pull. I said all right! Everything is going good!

It wouldn't spray. I noticed that the other nozzles had dirt dauber wasp nests in them, so I tried to remove the nozzle and it wouldn't disconnect. I figured it just had pressure between the wand and the nozzle.

Like a dummy, I left the motor running and took a pair of channel lock pliers and squeezed the quick disconnect.

There was a loud pop and I could hear the nozzle hitting tree limbs. It went close to my head.

After cleaning another nozzle and trying to plug it in I found that the trigger on the wand was stuck open so I had full pressure!

I accidentally found my red nozzle in the yard over 100' away today, after it had gone nearly straight up through 60' tall oak trees.

Can you imagine the damage that would have done to my head if It had of hit me?
