Looking for a top notch backpack blower

I've been trying to deciede which blower to buy for a while now. I like the looks of the Kawasaki 750B (720cfm, 200mph and 20.7lbs). Anyone have any experience with Kawi blowers?

No experience with the Kawasaki. Just suggestion to look at the Redmax and Stihl blowers, possibly you have already. I have had good experience using redmax 8001 for the big work and have a hand held for the small areas.

Only negative of the bigger backpacks is the weight, but if you have large area and fall leaves they are nice. Our Redmax has a waist strap the helps distribute the load to you hips for longer use. Make sure you try it out on your back for a while to be sure it is not too much weight.

During leaf cleanup season I use the backpack blower with right hand control and use the hand held in left hand. Heavy load but you can move a lot of leaves quick.

good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the advise. I have looked at those blowers and am concerned about the Stihl BR600 because of all the reviews about the 4 mix engine. The Redmax EBZ8050 is 5 lbs heavier and almost $100 more. Stihl has great dealer support; have you had to have your Red max repaired? Where did you buy it?
