Chipper/Shredder

I have contemplated purchasing a Chipper/Shredder for a couple of years. I originally thought the DR was the way to go, but after much thought, I decided I needed a chipper/shredder versus a DR chipper. I have researched the MacKissic, Bearcat, and DEK chipper/shredders. Iam willing to pay approx. $2500 for a reputable unit. I prefer a PTO model to use with my John-Deere 670 tractor (18 HP). Unfolrtunately I haven't found any comparisons of the above units. Any assistance appreciated.

Just be sure to get one that doesn't require more than 18 HP or you'll be disappointed.

I bought a Wallenstein BXM32 last year.

Works great. My tractor is about 30hp PTO. I don't know what the minimum is for this machine.

I bought it from Woodward Crossing. Maybe ask them (814) 349-4484
