I love my featherlite weedeater but....

My eight year old 18cc featherlite weed-eater has a carburetor problem. I recently changed the primer bulb and fuel lines but now it refuses to come up to speed. I have adjusted the mixture valve and installed a new spark plug. When I start it, it just barely sputters along regardless of the choke setting. It acts like it is getting way too much fuel. Is there a carburetor rebuild in my future and where does one get the parts for a rebuild.

Many thanks,

jsadie

either online or your local lawn mower repair guy. Kits run from $4 to $9 bucks. Probably Zama carb. ALso zama.com has excellent overhaul instructions also. Regardless if its a zama or warblo you will need to get the numbers off the carb. CU, CA or WA WT with numbers (example WT309)usually. If you fuel lines were bad usually the diaphram in the carb is gone also especially if you ran corn gas in it?
