No fuel to my Troy

Hi, I've got an '84 PTO Horse with a 6hp Tecumseh. Model# HH60-105115H. Last year, wouldn't start, rapped on fuel float bowl, then ran all season. This year wouldn't start. No spark, so pulled magnito sanded points and condenser contacts, then had spark, but still wouldn't start. Put eyedropper full of gas down spark plug hole, and she fired up and ran for a few seconds. Rapped bowl again, no luck this time. Fuel feed problems? Any ideas? She sat in cold damp garage all winter.

"She sat in a cold, damp garage all winter". Was that with or without gas in the carb??

Carburetor cleaning is in order. See this link.

Thanks guys. I suspected as much. Dropped some gas in the carb throat and she fired right up, also. I'm thinking a stuck needle valve in the float bowl, perhaps. A good cleaning and a carb rebuild kit is in order. And yes, It was stored with gas in it. Duh! I was told that gas with all the ethanol in it, is not good on small engines, and tends to leave a film on everything.
