I have both. I use the blower on the driveway, 30'x 30', the sidewalk and the backyard to keep a potty area cleared for our dogs. The wheeler gets used to clear the berm the city plows into the end of the driveway cause you never know what will be in a berm. I also use it to clear friends and neighbors berms.
I personally feel the wheeler would be faster to clear 185' of driveway simply because of speed. The blower could be used to clear areas too tight for the wheeler. Keep the wheeler for one winter just to compare.

I have a Yardman 1333 (15 years), and recently got a 7' rear blade for my Ag Tractor.

The top feature for a large two stage snow blower is that no matter who deep the snow gets, you can always clear it as long as the snow is dry, Even out by the street, where the road dept. packs it tight. But if you get four inches of slush, the two stage blower gets iffy. Sometimes the blower will just get clogged, or even snap a drive belt (always have a spare on hand). So, if you go with just a blower, you are probably going to need something for slush (temps around 32 degrees).

If you just have a snow blower, need to watch the temperature. Sometimes you may need to clear before the sun comes up. Keep it under 32 degrees.

In the past I have often cleared the occasional 2"-4" of slush by hand with a shovel. Just takes some time. So that's why I also now have a 7' blade for the farm tractor.

First check around your area for a good used Snow blower. Spring is here and Summer wont be far behind. And now is a good time to look for a good used blower. Then you can keep the ATV for everything that the blower can not do.

I found a rarely used Craftsman 24" with a 7 hp Tecumseh Snow King engine for $150 about 5 years ago.

My snow blower runs poorly. Could it be the carburetor that causes it? Or have bad fuel in the float bow. Any help from you would be great.
