dr 16.50 fpt vs mackissic sc1650 chipper/shredder

I have now decided on my ZRT (JD Z925A) and am trying to decide between the DR chipper/shredder 12HP / 16.50 FPT Model or the MacKissic SC1650. Both are similar and the price is similar. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has experience with either or both machines. Thanks.

I can't comment on the new MacKissic SC1650, but I've owned a 12HP Mighty Mac for three years now and can vouch for the quality of the machine. It's terrific and worth every buck it cost. Gary in St. Paul

Thanks Gary for the info. I have been researching chipper/shredders for over a year and was seriously considering the DR, primarily because of all the advertising exposure. Upon further examination, it appears that some people have had issues with shipping, honoring warranty, etc. and I think I now prefer the MacKissic machine.

I have heard good things about DR backing up customers with problems. On the other hand, you won't find many bad reviews of MacKissic machines. People love them.
