I have a Homelite Super XL Automatic chainsaw, with I believe it to be a 24" blade. This saw is old school, but starts on the first pull everytime. Wood (get it) anyone know the approx. value of such a gem?

Is it blue (early) or red? There are collectors but saws do not fetch big dollars. If there is no damage and the paint is in very good condition, you might ask $150

I love that saw (red) super xl auto. I paid 300 for it brand new in 1978. Best money i ever spent. Take care of it and it will last forever. If its sharp it will cut like a mother. I have seen them on E-bay ,in good shape for 180$ people buy them beat up for 70$ for parts.

Super xl auto. One of the best homelite saws ever. I'd say 150 bucks or so.
