Stihl 361Chain saw stalling

Recently purchased (1 week ago) a Stihl 361chain saw w/ 25" bar. Starts and runs great...however, after a hour of normal to light use...will not stay running! Retailer says is a fuel problem. Fresh, high octane and Stihl oil, clean (new) gas can. Other saws running fine on same mix. ?????

I would say take it to the dealer and let them take a look at it. They should be happy to do so for no charge since you just bought it. It could be that the fuel mixture needs to be adjusted after breaking in a little bit.
I have no direct experience with this model saw, but several of the newer 2-cycle engines I have come across seem to be set quite lean, and if too lean will bog when attempting to accelerate the engine. Will your saw idle and then bog when you attempt to accelerate, or not stay idling? If it is only a "won't idle" problem, then it may be as simple as a small increase in the idle speed screw.
