troybuilt tiller breather

This is an 30 year old Troybuilt Horse
5hp Tecumseh
Model HH 60 - 105115H)

Loosing oil out the valve cover. Makes a real mess too.

1) where do I get one of these breather hoses?
2) do I need to take off the valve cover and clean whatever dirt is in there also (need new valve cover gaskets, etc? or just put everything back). Or just leave it be??

Dealers are everywhere around here. They can get you any part and good advice.

OK, OK. Generally, dealers around here just sell the big tickets, so I don't generally ask about anything else.

So, I googled around, and found that Tecumseh has a great website, and I found the whole parts diagram for my engine (30 years old). I got the part numbers, then went to Jacks, and there they were. $12 including shipping for everthing.

What had me confused is that Homer Simpson has been swearing for years that the internet is ruining his life.
Homer is right on a lot of stuff, but not that.
