STIHL 110 trimmer clutch

Having a lot of trouble with subject clutch.

If the two screws holding the clutch "arms" are too tight the clutch won't close. If loose enough for the arms to close, the whole thing shakes loose.

Any advise appreciated.

Please share a close picture showing the matter. Sounds like a lack of locking with lock-tight or etc. I just disassembled a locked-up trimmer to see why. Every bolt had to be twisted at least .25" and you could see signs of lock-tight, torquing bolts that all seemed excessive. When vibration is a known matter, there has to be some type of restrictions. Good Luck!
