Hi, I am new to the group and glad it is here. I am having a problem with the black Philips screw that holds the silver cap over the starting pawl or dog. I am having carb problems so I get kick back which puts a strain on everything including me. The screw has a spring under it and a spring pin with some plastic slid over it. The pin drives right into the center of the screw after tightening it. It keeps coming loose after several pulls. Is there something missing? What could cause this? The dog comes out ok when pulling and retracts ok too. I'll move on to other mysteries with this engine later. Thanks for any help.SkylerOkeefe9
