JC Penney Tiller Info Needed

I got a non-running JC Penney 26" tiller with a 8HP Briggs. It says model 3001A. The motor is clearly marked and I have found a treasure of info on it. I am interested in getting an owners manual but I see no place to do this on the JC Penney web site. Does anyone have any ideas about where I might find a manual???

You would be a lucky man to find an actual manual. Is there specific info you need? Penncrest(sp) is the JC Penney brand of things. Maybe that will help. General Power/ AMF maybe?

Need help on a JC Penney model 3040 tiller. No spark. Where can I find a coil for thei B & S motor? S/N of tiller is 085270. Where is the motor info. I see no tags on the engine.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey am looking for a belt for a JCPenney 3031 garden tiller it is a 1970's model.

I have the 3001A tiller and need to replace the belts does anyone have some info on where I could find these belts either online or local shops in California thanks in advance

Post some pictures or links
to help ID the Tiller. It might be known
as another model also.

Also post Pics of specific
needs that possibly others have experiences with. Such as, Briggs & Stratton ignition parts,
that are universal and electronic ignition kits to replace points/condensers. I replaced a few points/condenser ignition
systems due to “minor” crankcase blow-by “Showing” contaminating points and
killing fire on 3.5 HP Briggs. I feel
the same or other modules will work for larger Briggs at a reasonable cost.
