ExCell Pressure Washer

I have an Excell XR2500 that is about 8 yr old.

It wasn't drawing chemical into the pump so I took off the chemical injector. O ring had gone bad so I replaced.

I lost the ball bearing that goes in the injector and got another. It had a short spring with it.

Question:

Is the spring used with this model (devibliss pump)?

What goes in first, the spring or the ball bearing?
