Tanaka Gas cap Defect

I want to let you guys know that the gas cap on my Tanaka THT 2520 split open resulting in fuel spillage. My dealer knew exactly what the problem was when I called him to get a replacement.

If you have one of these models or similar models keep an eye on the gas cap's integrity. I didn't realize mine had split until fuel started to leak out.

I have filed a report with the CPSC.
