I have a bunch of brass quick connectors for my hoses. They used to work great, but for the last few years they have been hard to connect. I have to either pull the collar back with way too much force or loosen the threads slightly before connecting them. So I figured that the washers had gotten old and needed replacing. I bought standard hose washers and I think they're worse now than before. Is there a special, thinner hose washer that I need? If so, where can I buy them?
