String trimmer will not run

String gas trimmer not getting gas .Spray ether in filter area and will run.Recently cut fuel line because it was cracked and reattached to filter in tank but still will not run. Troy- Bilt TB425CS

Try some Berryman's B 12 Chem Tool in the gas Just an ounce. Get it running with a prime to pull the mix into the carb. You can either keep it going with a shot of carb cleaner until the engine is running on its own or just let the mix soak in the carb for a day or so. . I have have had good results trying this before tearing down the carb.
