Have you googled with the manufacturer and the model number?

I got an old band saw at a garage sale. I was able to find a copy of the original manual for the saw by googling.

I believe the saw is about 30 years old. I don't have a great need for the saw but thought about getting one to learn what I needed it for. I could not let the deal pass by.

I would hate to think Home Depot or a major Hardware Store would not have your Jig Saw Blades. I have 40 yr old saws and find many blades are universal. With a slight amount ground or cut from the end, the set screw holds it in w/o a problem.

With Band saw blades I have them cut and welded or do it myself with silver solder, ground tapers in a jig to get a smooth joint. I am curious to know the brand brand of the 30 yr old band saw. My 1st whatever had too many adjustments until I got about a 30 yr old 12â throat Craftsman about 30 yrs ago (Tires, Blades and All has been a dream).

I did find an owners manual online. It does not have the blade numbers called out but it does show an optional universal mount for it to use with the universal blades. The mount that is on this saw will not accept the universal blades, at least the blades I've looked at in the box stores, due to the set screw going thru a hole in the blade.
However thru much "Googling" I think I found the correct blades. I ordered several and will find out if they work when I receive them.

I found blades for my 4300PA at the dreaded E-place. Bought all the seller had & they seem to last forever. Makita makes high-quality stuff!
